Leigh Macfarlane Creates is the website of author/editor/photographer Leigh Macfarlane.

Like many creative people, Leigh has many creative and artistic passions. While primarily a Canadian author of romance, romantic suspense, and non-fiction travel and memoir books, Leigh has been a singer/songwriter, a photographer, an editor, and an educator. Here at Leigh Macfarlane Creates, you will find the home for all of Leigh's current creative ventures. Leigh's vision for this site has always been that it is an umbrella for all of Leigh's creative content, and we are excited that this is now happening!

Here at LMCreates, you will find access to Leigh's romance novels, romantic suspense novels, non-fiction books, photography, editing services, and the education branch of LMCreates -- The Backwoods Writer. You will also find Macfarlane Creative's newest non-fiction spiritual and lifestyle writer - L. M. Penner. As well, you will find the original Macfarlane Creative blog which focuses largely on books and writing plus links to the newly developed Wisdom Well Blog, which speaks to issues of lifestyle, travel, spirituality, and more.

In her life, Leigh has been one of those perpetual student types. Over the course of her studies, Leigh has obtained diplomas in Interior Design, Floral Design, Freelance Writing, and Dog Grooming. Leigh has also completed two major degrees from the University of British Columbia Okanagan -- a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English Literature and a minor in Social Studies, and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Creative Writing. Leigh has taught courses in writing to adults and at the University level.

 

Currently, Leigh has completed her 18th novel. She is now working on one work of non-fiction, a travel diary, the art biography of artist M.K. Penner (aka dad), and has begun a brand new summer romance novel - That Monday Feeling.
